I applied for citizenship online for my wife on March 28, 2024 and the last update was on April 8 ( background check completed). Since there there is no update. Anyone with the same timeline?
How much time is it taking these days ?

I would suggest to send an email to scheduling addressAnother week is coming to an end and no updates from IRCC
They always give generic answers. I think it should be our right to know what’s going on. Especially after we paid $600+

I was told the same thing, except I called and the lady was nice about it. I told her this was mentally draining.
May I ask how long did you wait between you received the email response and the oath arrangement in tracker?
I didn’t send an email, I called and it was a week to the day. May 29 was when I called and got the tracker updated June 5.
you are lucky since the calling agent basically has nothing to do but only looking into your profile.

I couldn’t post this before because some of us still waiting for the oath. I know how frustrating to wait for a long time. Therefore I couldn’t post it and I know you were going to be happy but still couldn’t post it. Second main reason was some people’s ceremony got cancelled at the last minute. That’s why I just want to make sure. This process made me skeptical
Please don’t get mad at me
I became a Canadian citizen today. Got update last week for the ceremony. But as I said I couldn’t make sure until today
I really appreciate for your support , unity and friendship.
I hope each of you got your Oath ceremony very soon. I’ll be here to share my experience for the new applicants for sure. I believe I have to help others. That’s what would make me happy
