My file said medicals received LONG before I received SA. So it does not necessarily mean you have received SA yet or that the file has been transferred to VO.

@ MrsMissingThem, this is interesting. Does that mean that your application was already received by your visa office, and they updated this to say Medicals Received? So does that mean Sponsorship Approval includes the time of shipping to Visa Office?

I thought SA was given when your application ships out to Visa Office, and then you get AOR2 from Visa Office. If Medicals Received is updated, is this an indirect AOR2?

for VO's that don't give out AOR's (i know Vienna & Bucharest don't send, have no idea for others), best way to find out when your file got transfered to the VO is to order the GCMS notes

If you have provided your email address in the application then you will get it in the email otherwise it will be mailed

But i already got SA, and says there that my files were sent to the visa office..i dont have AOR though

I called them just now. The agent could not give me any new info except that my file was received on May 7th. No idea if they are missing any docs, if there is any delay, or if they even opened it yet. Only new info I got from her is that apparently they are not giving out AORs any more, they only give SA directly, or return the application. So, she just said I have no idea about your file except that we received it. Just wait however many months or years it takes (sorry, that last bit is me rephrasing).

Theyre not giving AOR? That makes sense..
