I should have gone for New Delhi since I was having option.. but my consultant did not guide me properly.. I wish I would have come to this forum first..

Go through with the information http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/minister-kenney-launches-national-consultations-on-immigration-levels-and-mix-t76515.0.html

SandySurrey,

nothing new man ! Minister Kenney will meet the stakeholders, may be Nov 1 , 2011 press release will have its impact. I thought a fresh and analytic someone in place of Kenney would emerge after the last election who could deliver something better than him.

AspirantCanada,

CHC ND has a Backlog the size of an Indian Ocean lol.
CHC Buffalo is much faster than them.

hi,
just received my 2nd AOR today (13 july 2011) by mail. it was dated 5 july/ mailed my complete application in med feb 2011

That's true mate, don't think this would make the pre June applicants files moving. Going by the data , people who applied in April , may, June 2010 they may have to wait for 1.5 years to 2 years as only 36k visas are allowed in federal skilled category for 2011.

not a big deal to wait maximum 2 years but if it starts with the date file reached to CHC

Many experiencing their Addresses being vanished from their Ecas statuses.
Something is happening for sure, they must be working hard to clear the backlog.

no worries. this happens from time to time because they are migrating the e-cas to another system. for more relevant information you may want to check this Canada Immigration site.

Guys... some people saying that 2-3 guys received MR in last few weeks although, the person they are talking about is not a May2010 applicant... but he received MR on 09/07/2011 from New Delhi VO.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/thread-1111-and-0111-who-have-submitted-docs-in-delhi-chc-only-2010-t50385.3225.html (see KDSTTL post, hope link works for you guys)

seems something is moving... One more thing if they have minimized the quota from 20000 -> 10000 then I think they would obviously have less new application and more time to process us... then how come some people saying we are bound to wait for 2 Year and then they will start..If that is also considered as a case for instance then next year also they would have new application to process before us ... in this manner we would never get processed ... !! Which feel never be a case.. I think GOD & CIC is taking the test of nerves and patience .... Hope all us pass that.. Best of Luck to everybody

The problem is for 0213 and 4131's
Staggering # of applications of that two particular category on CIC's hand.
CIC just cant issue PR visas to all of those in 2011 oa good half of 2012, coz if they do, it would be difficult for them to get a job in Canada.

I am also one of the May 2010 2nd AOR member. This monday i got my CAIPS, my file is still there no one touches it. and my BF'D day is the same as my 2nd AOR, but its 2011 05May, so it has been more than 2 months since then, but nothing changes, no hear from VO.

And also i found most of the April 2010 applicants got medical request and even some got PPR. But really not find any May ones got even medical request.

Really dun know how long we still need to wait. :( :(
