May 19 is the date your first application was received by CIO and you were sent you first AOR on the 18th of october. Overall, it means you document is on queue and you still have a lot of waiting to do.

But noone is able to answer the question that when ecas will change into INPROCESS?

CIC dont want to make the situation worst any further by letting more professionals of the same NOC.
They want the already landed migrants to get the jobs along with keeping a fair amount of distance from the native Canadians who could get the jobs without being hit hard by the migrants.

CIC has the woo to get millions of $'s in RPRF from the awaiting applicants but they have a social aspect to take care of. I am relying on CHC's London's reply that it could take 2 yrs or more for the files to be processed. 2011 seems bleak !

Dear All,

Finally I got the second AOR from London Office. The file number has not changed and they have sent me below reply (4th July-11) for my queries regarding 2nd AOR:-

Thank you for your enquiry.

A letter acknowledging receipt of your documents was sent to the mailing address on file on 10/06/2011.

Please note, your file has not changed. Please quote the following file number in future correspondence: B123456789

Regarding the status of your application:

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be rocessed. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

I am not sure about the waiting period but I assume it will be 12 months from the letter date.

Thanks Cool guy .. but if you read the email reply ... it says you will have to wait longer for your 2nd AOR ... "Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected. "

If they replied to ur email (for 2nd AOR query) on 4th July. When did you receive your 2nd AOR. I mean did you receive your 2nd AOR even before gettin email reply for your query ... sorry for bugging you .. but I was a bit confused ... becoz the email you shared says you will have to wait for your AOR.

Thanks

Hi Punam,

At the beginning of the email, they have told that the letter was sent on 10th June-11 (which I have not received due to entry mistake in address PO Box No:).

So 2nd AOR was sent on 10th June-11. As my file no. have not changed (as per their mail), I dont need to worry about letter (which is an standard letter).

In letter they are saying waiting period of 12 months. But in their email they are saying that it may take 2 years.
I will be waiting for 7 to 8 months and again raise a query if I have not received anything.

The email does not say that I have to wait for 2nd AOR (which is already issued on 10th June-11).

Hi navali,

I am currently residing in Dubai (basically from India), so applied directly from Dubai. All Dubai Applicants have the London Visa Office.

If you have not received 2nd AOR and you got the reply from London office that your file no. has not changed, then you don't need to worry. 2nd AOR is a standard letter.
