Hello guys, march 2nd 2020 outland here.

we received Procedural fairness letter april 10th (we both live outside canada) and they want proof that Me (the sponsor) plans to reside in canada once applicant is approved.

we registered a business in jan 2021 in canada. we have shipping details of moving, selling car, letter of resignation etc.

my question is the below is what we submittied last week. do you think its enough to convince the agent that i (the sponsor) plan to move back to canada?

for proof i send the following:

  • Exhibit 1 Business number registration Canada
  • Exhibit 2 Business import and export – , Canada
  • Exhibit 3 Canada revenue agency (CRA) business name registration –Canada
  • Exhibit 4 Cancelled flight to Canada for visit rejection. year 2020
  • Exhibit 5 My father’s letter (in canada) explaining accommodations (transport and housing) in Fredericton,
  • Exhibit 7 Driver license renewal for Sponsor in Canada
  • Exhibit 8 student loan in Canada that’s been paid on time every month/

  • Exhibit 16 Temporary residency refusal letter; NOVEMBER 18, 2019)
  • Exhibit 17 Temporary residency refusal letter; APRIL 19, 2021)
  • Exhibit 18 Proof of correspondence via text message with potential buyers in attempt of selling my car Jan 2021 prior to returning to Canada
  • Exhibit 19 Written attestation/promise to reside in Canada (Sponsor)
  • Exhibit 20 Written attestation/promise to reside in Canada (applicant)
  • Exhibit 21 Proof of CIBC visa (sponsor and applicant) and Proof of American Express Canadian credit card (sponsor and applicant)
Seems enough to prove! We were same situation with you(we're both outside) and we sent below:
・the letter from parents-in-law(living in Canada) to IRCC officer. It says they can guarantee their place to live and how much pensions they get(just in case).
・Explanation letter. My husband(Canadian) has been outside of Canada for a long time so he wrote what he's planning after he moves back to Canada.(What kind of jobs he'll look for or start something like that)
・Bank account statement (Both of us) to prove we can make a living in Canada for while without income.
For now, IRCC doesn't require any additional documents and already received Sponsor approval.

I sent them with my application. We thought we needed to prove with them since we were going to move to Canada as we're between jobs.

eCAS Status Complete- You landed on April 15, 21 and became a PR - no email, no COPR - what next?? help please

Type of application- Family Class Spouse Outside Canada

Although filed initially outside Canada, I have been in Canada on an extended visitors visa with spouse due to Covid lock down. I did inform IRCC of this change in circumstances.

In March the status changed to Decision Made but I have never gotten an email or any communication on the decision.

In April- the status changed to Complete and says I entered Canada on 4/15/21 and became a permanent resident. I did not get any communication and I didn’t have any type of interview with the office they say I entered at.

I have not been successful in linking paper application to online account.
But - I was able to link the PR CARD to my online account just using my information and it confirms that a PR Card was received on 4/15/21 (matching the date on eCAS) but no processing status.

I see everyone has gotten a portal email or an electronic version of a COPR.
I have not gotten an approval email when the status was DM. I have not gotten an email when the file was completed and I have checked spam accounts for both sponsor and myself. We had gotten several communication via email from different visa offices during the process.

After seeing everyone getting some sort of email confirmation within days and also a COPR that asks for signature and picture to process their PR card - I am growing worried that mine may be lost in transmission.

Can anyone please help calm my nerves if they have a similar experience to mine and still got their COPR and PR Card in a different means?

Just wait on your email ur process is complete, posting it every thread here will not let ircc send u your email quicker.

I have seen where people posted in several places and I imagined like me they are just anxious and are hoping someone with a similar experience can provide insight. The last thing they need are condescending responses. I didn’t expect to hear from IRCC as a result of my post here.

I want to ask
I got ppr on 16 april
I requested for passport submission on 17 april and got reference no.
then didn’t get payment link because 2 way courier service from vfs cancelled due to lockdown in delhi and there is more chances of lockdown extension due to covid in delhi.
Even delhi canadian consulate and visa office are closed due to lockdown. In ppr they have given me 30 days to submit my passport. But suggested if i not able to submit my passport for any reaosn ,tell us by webform.
I want to ask , i need another ppr after lockdown for my visa and copr?if this 30 day period got passed.

I don't mean to insert myself in this discussion - but I understood @SHPAH 's situation to be different - a Canadian citizen living abroad (and in need of showing intent to return to Canada per the regs). It's possible I may have misunderstood - but I don't think it applies to your situation, as a citizen unambiguously can reside outside Canada throughout the process (but needs to demonstrate intent to return).

Member of the Federal Parliament of Canada, sometimes they can help to get updates on an application if you haven't heard from IRCC in a long time.
