VO: Ottawa
Eligibility: Verifying
Criminality: In process
Security: Not started

I know things have just started getting better so we have to be patient. But any idea how long is it gonna take before March AORs start getting PPRs?

Recently i got married and informed ircc. they've sent me few forms. One of them is imm0008 which is very confusing.
It says that should be filled by me and my spouse. inside form first info to be given is of primary applicant. But if i get it filled by my spouse, wouldn't she become primary applicant?

Eligibility can take up to 4 to 5 months post AOR and then Security screening will start which can take 2 to 3 months. Thereafter the final decision.

Any update on PNP Outland Applications? has IRCC started the processing these applications

I raised a webform to know about any progress on my FIle. Below is the response I got from them, Anyone here can help me out what I should do next.

Since your file is located at the Canadian visa office in New Delhi, India, we invite you to also contact them in order to:

  • Report important changes,
  • Provide documents,
  • Add a representative or designated individual on file,
  • Obtain information regarding the status of your application, or
  • Enquire on an outcome to a request.

So if security takes 2 to 3 months , for people like us who didn't give biometrics we should expect PPR in 2021, going by how long they stopped the medical examination ( for more than 4 months before resuming ) I guess that biometrics should remain suspended for at least the same amount of time , that's 6-7 months of waiting before PPR for me at least ( VFS Canada announced closing on July 1st in my country) , which get me to January- February 2021, and a total processing time of almost a year.

Its not like that there are cases whose security clearance can change in a few days too. So it all depends on your file! For some it might take a year! No one knows not even the officer working on your file! :)

Hopefully, We are all waiting for VFS to reopen, they are operating in only a few countries.

That's unfortunate but IRCC has been falling behind it's stated goal regardless of processing 80% of applications in 6 months, in 2019 only 60% of applications were completed in 6 months

Info sharing refers to IRCC sharing information with partner countries and departments. See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ional-instructions-agreements/agreements.html

If you see system error then either the information was not transmitted, or nothing came back.
