Note that the progress bar just shows the time elapsed from the day an application is submitted. It does not inform what stage or how far an application has been processed.

Once the progress bar is at 100% then you may see a message in MyCIC like this; "Your application is taking us longer than usual to process. About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests, and whether the application is complete."

There are few options, you can raise a webform or call IRCC as well and inquire about the status.

Thanks again for your response.. All of those steps are done literally a hundred times. I know that there is nothing you can do with this. I have just said this situation is very uncertain for all of us. Thanks again for suggesting the options.

I think right now, the only thing we can do is wait as outlanders. Even if we got COPR, I don't think we could enter Canada with it. Actually, I'm not sure if we can enter Canada with COPR.

1) Assuring it won't be a problem. We don't have to ask for extension, no need to submit any request and same BIL can be used after Aug 18.
2)
· The eligibility review is met.

· The security background verification has not been initiated.

· The background verifications are in process.

I hoped for Background Verifications to be done also. Anyway...

Hello Guys My sponsorship application was received on March 5 but no AOR or no email or mail received yet. Not even a single update on my application yet. I'm in canada and my wife is in India. Is this normal ? been 4 months and no update. Anyone in the same situation ?

any procedure to get an update ? I called them but they gave me a number for my sponsor application but they said its not official AOR so any thoughts or idea what to do in this situation ? Also I tried to check the application status with that number but its not found in the system so

So you don't have a UCI or a file number? Since you are in Canada you could have requested your GCMS file for free

I dont have an official UCI or file number but when I called them they gave me a number and said that it is not official and mentioned that your application is entered in the system but its not official AOR yet so tried to check my app status in the IRCC but no luck

Yes, you can request the GCMS notes without a UCI and file number. UCI is not a mandatory field anyway only file number is. Just enter unknown in that section and in the comments section enter details to help IRCC ATIP locate your file. It's still possible GCMS may not exist if there is some issue but you can certainly try this route.

Sorry for not being clear, IRCC ATIP does occasionally have difficulty locating or accurately identifying the information and in which case they may ask for additional information. This happens when both UCI and file number are not available.

Understand thank you. do you happen to know is there anyone received AOR that their application is received in March ?
I saw the spread sheet and no updates after Feb for any applicants so 2020 Spousal/Common Law Tracking Tool - Google Sheets is this link accurate and being updated daily?
