My process is very same and the timeline. We said Toronto and now want to go to Vancouver. But our CoPR says Dest. city Toronto — so we don't want to risk it. Can you tell if that's a problem?

We have gotten the CoPR now planning on buying tickets and going there.

Can you tell what is needed? It used to take 2 weeks to get a PR card, now as you noted it's 3 months. How can I get a place for three months without being in Canada?

Do I have to have an address when I land in Canda to give to the immigration officer or can I book a hotel and later give them a new address?

Did you get your PR card you said you're back in China, how did you travel to China without first getting your PR card?

People we got CoPR and now planning to buy the ticket to go to Canada. I have questions: Please answer:

1. Do I have to land in the city of destination on my CoPR (says Toronto, I want to go to Vancouver) — should I take the risk?
2. If I have money in bank that I can access from Canada. I need to declare that or is it fine since I'm not carrying $10K with me?
3. PR card is taking 3 months, can I get it sooner, I have a conf in the US I need to go to for a short trip?
4. The immigration officer asks for the address for PR card — I don't know that. I'll get a hotel but probably change my address soon. How do I change the address of delivery of my PR card?

What else do you think I should know and take with me?

If you didn't apply under PNP you can stay in any province except Quebec.

I don't think so. But do carry latest statement for proof of funds.

You can't expediate the processing times. Be mindful that you won't be able to enter Canada by a flight without a PR Card . You can still enter through land border with your CoPR.

I'm FSW. I'm asking about landing for the first time not staying. Can youtell?

Expidite how? and you mean I can go to the US and then come from the US to Canada from land and it'll be fine without a PR card and just CoPR?

For the difference between desination of where you wanna land and where the paper shows, my repsentative said it is ok for you to land any city of Canada. And I do remember I read an article about this and confirmed he's answer. I suggest you to google it and find relevant article from IRCC website.

For the second question. I dont have better idea except friend's and representative's address. IRCC does need you to find a permanent address rather than a hotel or P.O box. So you can ask some friends, colleagues or their friends.
But for the processing time of PR, it varies. It may take a few week or month, all depends. I just heard of. My PR card hasn't been sent, though I have landed for almost 3 weeks.

I think you have to have a permanent address when you provide your COPR to officer. I dont think a hotel address is vaild.

1. You can land anywhere in Canada.
2. You can't request to process your PR card earlier it will be processed at their own pace. Yes you can enter Canada via land border with your CoPR.
3. You don't need to submit the paper. The paper has instructions about updating the address later when you have one.
I'd suggest give address of any friend or relative for your PR card. Go to US, attend the event, come back via land border in a private vehicle (You have to travel with a private vehicle if travelling with CoPR after landing has already been done)

we are FSW outland, aor 29 april 2020, our files is still on process, we did upfront on march, validate on april after noting, no adr..
we don't know what we can do...
can someone help us?
