Either or both I guess. I'm periodically checking the other sheets in case people update them and not this one. And feel free to update anything you know to be incorrect.

I do appreciate your work, but in all honesty, having 2 consolidated sheets floating around, plus monthly application sheet floating around (which is rarely updated, but in some cases shows updates where the previous Manila sheet did not) proves to be quite time consuming....especially when I check all sheets like 10 times a day (Haha).

The consolidated sheets are our only means of tracking where Manila VO is in their processing, and it's the only thing that keeps many of us sane. We need them to be up to date, and if there are 2 they both need to be up to date.

Since you created the second sheet, can I ask that not only you keep an eye on the first one, but vise versa upon updating?

I agree that the last thing we needed was yet another sheet. When I added all the other data to the existing sheet I was trying to remedy the problem with so many sheets without adding yet another. This new sheet is just a slightly reformatted version of what the other sheet was going to be (just needed the stats). I had assumed the new data would be welcomed. The owner of the sheet apparently didn't agree and removed all my work (which is fine as they are the rightful owner). So I won't waste my time trying to update that sheet again (I will leave that to it's rightful owner).

After the data was removed I was intending to just use my downloaded copy for myself. But decided that since I am maintaining it anyway why not make it available to all? We could still get everything into one place for easy viewing and editing. Periodically checking and updating one sheet isn't too hard (especially if people help by managing their own info). But I don't have the time or inclination to make any changes to the other sheet.

I like your sheet Scos, especially after somebody removed me from the other one (although it could have been anybody who's OCD or perhaps bearing a grudge) I will follow it and try and help to keep it updated. I don't follow any of the other Manila threads because I find the constant switching of languages very frustrating. If anyone is able to follow those threads maybe they could help keep the SS up to date as well.

BTW, the field "Days since Application received" doesn't seem to compute right.. I'm not an Excel user but it seems some kind of formula has been corrupted ( i think..)

The "Days since Application received" isn't just todays date less the received date. It calculates that way if no visa has been issued. When a visa is issued it uses the issue date. Otherwise completed apps will continue to accumulate days and keep pushing up the averages. I'll do a quick check to make sure all the formulas are right.

You were right, there were a couple of hard coded numbers I updated to formulas (so they weren't updating). Also the denied app had a value for the days that was going to perpetually increase since the app was denied, so I removed the calculation for that entry. The numbers are small enough that the averages weren't affected much by them.

I'm going through lots of old messages to get the early part of the year as accurate as possible. It is really filling in well now. And google translate is getting a good workout too...

Congrats KP1111! I can't afford to bet against CJG, Japan applicants seem to get processed in record time at Manila.

wow, congrats! I am encouraged by this good news. I'm from November batch too (our application arrived Nov. 9). We were expecting an AOR from CIC, but we haven't received any correspondence until now. Hopefully we'll get sponsor approval soon, too, so we can proceed with stage 2.
