Finally my wife got her request for remedical today via email. Its nice to get some good news for a change.

Finally my wife got her request for remedical today via email. Its nice to get some good news for a change.

If your wife lives in manila or near she can go to IOM Health Center, the new accredited panel physicians they are very helpful and the nurses and staff are very accomodating. Also when I did my remed there last march 13 the applicants are not that many as compared to St. Lukes. Congrats!

Now I need to know how long from when they receive her re-meds would it take her to get her PPR? A few months?

Yeah, thats the right words 'fast and efficient'. But i will advice you to tell your wife first to check about the xray machine. I did my remed on march 13 but a lot of us need to return on march 19 because of faulty xray machine not working and a lot of us need to wait almost whole day again for the machine. And they have to re sched others.

yes make sure thay clean all the handprints off the screen, wouldnt want a shadow on the xray then you have to do a sputum test for 3000pesos

i noticed the last few weekends applicants announcing they just received email from cem on sunday, i just figured they had not checked since friday, i quess now ill be checking my email every day of the week, PLEASE SEE IF YOUR WIFE CAN FIND THE DATE AND TIME EMAIL SENT

It was sent to her on the 14th around 12:30pm. So they are working weekends.

I sent an email to Jason Kenney last week that was not very pleasant. I have no idea if that prompted any response or not but at least there is movement on our file.

Minister Kenney,

I am writing this email in concerns to your recent news release of faster processing times.

I applied as a sponsor for my wife in May of 2012 the processing times were 7 months they are now at 12 months. Please explain to me how that translates to faster processing times? Half of my sponsorship application was lost when it was transferred from Mississauga to Ottawa making an 89 day processing time turn into 5.5 months for the stage one. My wife's application now sits unopened in Manila for 6 months. Her medicals have expired and will have to be redone which is an additional cost to me. Why do I have to pay more for the same service others get? Why is my application overlooked and others that applied well after me are processed? Why would you close the visa office in Seoul and not have additional staff to handle the overflow now in Manila.

I would be able to be more understanding if this service I received at no additional cost to me but since I'm paying for it I have expectations as a customer. Those expectations are not to see the processing time increase or have your department allow my supporting documents expire and further add to this cost and delay of this application.

This experience so far has been nothing short of disappointing not to mention the added stress on my wife and I. As a 7th generation Canadian, taxpayer and voter it is embarrassing to have to make excuses for you and your department. This reflects poorly on you.

IT SEEMS IF THE MPS ARE INVOLVED SOME ACTION IS TAKEN. Whatever system is in place that can allow November applicants to jump over so many others with no means to flag them is a corrupt system. Not to take anything away from Comarxx but even if he is representative of 5% of all applications submitted then how can you not see it has no integrity.
Manila can easily see when the applicant was first dated and thats how they should be processed. That is what is fair. Not that you should have to wait over a year to receive the same service that someone else gets in a third of that time.
