Yeah no need to worry... Just mention you have a connecting flight to catch. You should get bumped up the queue. If your flight is late or you miss the connecting one they should put you on the next connecting one. You may have to wait a bit but they will rearrange it.

She will need to fly to Manila, are they wanting an interview? i told her be there right at 8am and maybe she will get her visa before the end of the day. Also there is no address so we are sure if she goes to the new one

The validity of a permanent resident visa - once issued - may
not be extended, nor can replacement visas be issued with a new validity
date. If you submit a booking certificate, it is taken as an indication
of your ability and willingness to travel to Canada within the current
validity of your visas as stated above.

2. Properly completed IMM5406 (Additional Family Information) form.
Forms may be downloaded at:

If you do not provide us with the documents enumerated above and/or do

I think she just needs to pick up her copr/visa. I'm not sure though. one thing is certain, you guys will be together very very soon....Wow congratulations!!!!! this is a good news to everyone waiting!!!! they still have mercy to those who just wants to be with their families.

This is a good news for us waiting. there is hope despite of the recent development on the strike. your wife must be religious and she keeps on praying. thank you so much for sharing. i have been stalking this thread since this morning looking for developments and voila!

My husband just got an email from his MP and this is the content of the letter:

Please be advised that initial review on the file has been completed.
The applicant's medical result is valid until
11 January 2014. The requested passport and Appendix A form have been
received. The file is currently queued for eligibility assessment by
the Visa Officer. We will be in a position to finalize the application
after the eligibility assessment has been completed and there are no
concerns identified during the review.

yes we had lost all hope after hearing the news of a full walkout of the strike, but things are still happening. hope for everyone to see a ray of light from this.

Irisgirl, my mp got almost the exact same reply when they checked 10 weeks ago. it just means they have all your documents, passport, etc and are doing a final review
