Ok guys I have a for real CIC question to ask everyone...lol
So we got our Passport request and a request of proof that we are planing to move to Canada back on12/12/12. I sent out a scanned copy of the passport and a letter from me and one from my dad as proof of the move. I just got an e-mail from CIC requesting a copy or scan of the passport again. Should I just re-send the scan I did or do you think I should go and get a copy and mail it to their stupid a$$? What would you guys do?

I'd send them the scan again. They probably lost it on the golf course between the 5th and 6th holes.

I hate when people get majorly rude with me on here. Half the time I'm posting or reading, it's from my iPhone, which has a tiny screen and sometimes I can't see things that well! So I make a mistake......... good to know I'm the only person who makes mistakes! Sheesh.

So in reply, I just act as dumb as possible. Do I know the answers? Yup, but since I'm so idiotic already, I'll just keep my mouth shut.

Mine asked me 11!! He said he was scared, that the first 10 were a test, he was terrified, not that he didn't want to marry me, he did abd that scared him. If you know him like I do, it makes perfect sense. He's a worrywart and thinks things through very thoroughly but he knew I was the "one" fairly early on. He just never rushes into things.

Welcome blue angel... And sounds like your hubby knew a good thing when he found it! There are perks to thinking things through, and not being spontaneous with those important life decisions. However, I am good with the quick decisions when they work out!

And Mrs Parker, sounds like Mr Parker doesn't hold any stops when it comes to you! I'm sure he knew what a catch he had with all your many talents... ;)

What happened sir amikety? Obviously it was someone new who doesn't know how great you are... Or how blunt!

Yes he did. He said so. He said, yes the first three ( around 3 months in) were kinda him kidding around but the last 8 he was very serious about it but nervous so he played it off. I knew he loved me, that was all good, so I thought the whole thing was cutesy so I played along I told him, 'my answer is yes at this moment, whether it changes or not is up to you.' He infact reiterated that after the actual proposal, I asked if he was scared, he said 'nah, you already said your anwer was yes but I wanted to ask anyway' . He was only nervous because he'd never done it before and he wanted to 'do it right'. I told him that I didn't need too much fanfare, just for him to have it feel right in his heart. Infact, the proposal was spur of the monent, after a mutual friend's wedding. He said he realized how truly special I was and how much he loved me. he said he knew that he wasn't going to be with anyone else. So that's my story.

Well, you know, we're apparently all entitled to free advice.

Man, the Internet has made me jaded.

I'll share the details of the actual proposal (which was my 22nd birthday mind you :P) later on. He was CRAZY nervous!

As long as we're discussing proposals and what not...

Three days after I met my baby, I told her, "you don't realize it yet, but you're gonna marry me". Needless to say, she was left speechless and somewhat in shock. She didn't know whether to chalk it up to the fact that I was crazy, or just joking with her to get a reaction. She knew next to nothing about me at that point, however, I was absolutely convinced she was the one I wanted to be with. So 46 days later when she told me she was in love with me, I just grinned and said, "Phase one...complete". She didn't know what I meant...but after about three seconds it clicked, and she started laughing and playfully swatting me.

I'll be proposing later this spring, and we'll be getting married sometime in the summer or early fall. I'm putting an enormous amount of work into the proposal, so it's not something to be rushed. I want it to be completely unique, unlike anything anyone has ever done before, and nothing cheesy that she would've seen a million times on TV or movies. It's a lot of work (mostly research and timing that has to be precise down to the second). But I'm hoping the end result will leave a memorable impression with her and with a story she will always be able to reminisce about in the decades to come.

I've never proposed to anyone before, and this will be the only time I'm doing it, so I want it to be done right. It's all part of my lovable nature.

ELEVEN?? My husband got down on his knee every time and organized things with my family/friends. By the third one I facepalmed immediately and I think he knew it was time to stop making me the center of attention lol. I joked about making him ask me again, but I could never handle eleven proposals!!
