you can apply any time after your PER. But it's recommended to apply once you somehow come to know that visa office has started processing your file or about to start.

I am from Pakistan and applied application for FSW under Arranged employment (AEO) to CIO, NS, Sydney in Oct-2012 and PER received in December-2012 with the information that my file is being forwarded to LVO for further process .
Since then my application status is "In Process" and no any update received from LVO so far despite passage of one year till Dec-2013 .
Can any one suggest me how long do I need to wait more to get any response from LVO. Some one told me that now I will receive medical request with update of some documents from LVO till Feb or March-2014.

Hi Awan, I would like to post this extract from CIC about possible reasons for delay in processing applications. No one can really predict how long it will take. The ones I have highlighted in blue are key.


"Factors that may delay processing
The following factors may delay the processing of your application:

-unclear photocopies of documents
-contact information that is unclear, illegible, incorrect or blocked by your internet server
-documents not accompanied by a certified English or French translation
-information and documents provided required independent verification
-a medical condition that may require additional tests or consultations
-a criminal or security problem
-family situations such as impending divorce, or custody or maintenance issues, or completion of a legal adoption
-consultation is required with other offices in Canada and abroad"

I really feel sometimes that I should do something to change my Visa Office from London to anywhere else like Bucharest, NDVO, Paris, CPPO, HK, Beijing etc but then just tray to absorb all this frustration with another hope that one day LVO will wake up as well....damn,,, one of the worst visa offices in the world.....feeling really sad after seeing all this injustice situation by LVO....poor, pathetic and shameful.....

Personal opinion: Don't expect any processing this month.
