I checked my ECAS now and the 2nd line is there but still no email about medical. Still, this is a good sign!!! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Any one has send passport to london visa office? how many days they take ?

My consultant advicing that either i have to travel to pakistan to send my passport to canadian high commission in pakistan or DHL my passport to London visa office.

Do advice me if anyone has experience of sending pakistani passport to london.

Where are you based?
Usually they will ask you to send the passports to the nearest Canadian Embassy/High Commission from your present address (as filled in the forms). For example LVO will ask you to send the passports to Riyadh CHC if you are located in Saudi Arabia. And to Abu Dhabi if you are located in UAE, etc.

If you are located in the UK, then for sure they will ask you to send to LVO directly.

I have a few questions. I hope our senior or knowledgeable members here will find the time to answer. Thank you in advance!

1. Do I need to do fasting for the medical? What do they mainly check?

2. After I completed the medical and all additional documents, what is the next step and how long do I have to wait?

3. If God-willing I completed my visa application process by December, is it correct that I have 1 year allowance to make my first landing in Canada? It's like December2014 - December2015.

4. If after I got my visa, I got married, can I immediately apply for my spouse visa? How long does he needs to wait?

I am located in Brunei and the nearest Canadian high commission is in Singapore and malaysia, I have to fill in the PPR1 form in which i need to provide my addess, my consultant adviced me if i am allowed by law to send passport via DHL then might be LVO will ask me to send passport to london visa office or otherwise I would have to go to Pakistan and submit my passport,
