I have received the stamped visa + COPR

Here is my detailed timeline:

16-Jul-13 : Application reached CIC
18-Oct-13 : PER
19-Jun-14 : Medical and RPRF request
19-Jul-14 : Third line added on ECAS: "Medical results have been received."
25-Sep-14 : PPR1 request
30-Sep-14 : Email Received to submit passports to VFS Global's offices
09-Oct-14 : Passports submitted to VFS Global's offices.
14-Oct-14 : Collected passports+COPRs

Dont worry guys, i submitted my passport in islamabad via TCS on 12th august and got back on 30 sep mean after long wait. So dont worry...

Any one has send passport to london visa office? how many days they take ?

My consultant advicing that either i have to travel to pakistan to send my passport to canadian high commission in pakistan or DHL my passport to London visa office.

Do advice me if anyone has experience of sending pakistani passport to london.

If u r living in Pak then u cant send ur passport outside country via courier service so u have to submit in Islamabad. But u r living in other country where Canadian embassy is not located then u can send ur passport to London. In ur passport request, they mentioned that where u have to submit ur passport.
In my case, i submitted my passpord in Islamabad bcz i m in Pak and my husbanf submitted in London bcz he was living in Spain.

1. Do I need to do fasting for the medical? What do they mainly check?

No need for fasting.

For medical check-up in Saudi Arabia (based on personal experience)
For adults, blood test, blood pressure, urine test, chest x-ray (some people reported doing a general physical exam).
For kids: urine test.

2. After I completed the medical and all additional documents, what is the next step and how long do I have to wait?
After that passport request 1 will be next step can be expect.

3. If God-willing I completed my visa application process by December, is it correct that I have 1 year allowance to make my first landing in Canada? It's like December2014 - December2015.
U have time to enter in canada till date of ur medical expiry.. in my case, i got 10 months validity.

4. If after I got my visa, I got married, can I immediately apply for my spouse visa? How long does he needs to wait?
During process, i got married and within 6 months we both got our visas and copr. I hope it helps

Ppr 1 means that firstly u send passport copies and updated information chart to lvo...

Hello Everyone
it has been 53 months since the start of my journey on May 2010,and 30 months from processing date April 2012,Medicals were done on May 2013 and extended till may 2015.
Latest email from London VO was on May 2014 extending our medicals till May 2015 and mentioning that I will hear from them shortly and no need to do Short Landing.
I waited 3 month since they said Shortly and then emailed on Aug 2014 but no response,
late Aug I emailed the Minister of Immigration and He responded on September 4 confirming that they contacted London visa office and our records confirm that your application is nearing completion and rest assured that u will be conyacted with regar to the final stage of processing.

I cannot understand the delays ,Medical are great and they extended it for me anf family for another year,My NOC is still in Demand and as per their website they recieved only 260 of 1000 cap this year. funds ready passports ready and I told them in every and each email that I am ready to travel as soon as they stamp the visas.
I know I have been repeating myself over and over ,however consider my pain of waiting more than 4 years .Even my kids do not trust anyword about Canada anymore.

Finally my prayers to all applicants especially the unfotunate 2010 applicants.

Dont loose hope, my category is provincial nominee and i applied on sep 2011 and after long journey i got visas for mine and my spouse on 30 sep 2014... so keep patience while its too tough but end will be best....

Yes visa expiry date is mentioned and it is same as expiry of my medical... 19 july 2015 is expiry date of my visa

I am located in Brunei and the nearest Canadian high commission is in Singapore and malaysia, I have to fill in the PPR1 form in which i need to provide my addess, my consultant adviced me if i am allowed by law to send passport via DHL then might be LVO will ask me to send passport to london visa office or otherwise I would have to go to Pakistan and submit my passport,

Bro, Your case is unique CEC is Brunei is not handling visa applications, and there is no VFS in Brunei.

In the PPR (the PPR2) email from LVO, they will clearly mention where do you need to send your passport to. And you are supposed to follow that. You don't have an option to chose a different CEC unless you inform your Visa Officer and get his/her confirmation that you can send the passports to a different VO.
