Hi,

I gave the g-1 test on Friday and passed with 20/20 in Signs and 20/20 in rules...it was easy also I have 10 years driving experience and also the authority letter. So the official told me I can straight away apply for G Licence after learners. So that is the advantage other wise you have to wait for 8 months after G2 road test to apply for G

Hi,

Just follow the questions on this link and you should be able to clear the G1- Learner's Test in Ontario.

Also very important information, if you plan to get authenticity letter from India for your driving licence then make sure the date of issue of that letter is mentioned on that letter.

Hey,

It is called particulars letter. It will have you picture and licence number and issue date of license and expiry and stamp of the RPO, and date of issue of that letter and that is it.

New immigrants or people who are or planning to take anything on contract or anything that requires your credit to be pulled be very very cautious. You have a credit history to make in Canada and everything here almost everything runs on credit history. Each time your credit is pulled it comes down and you need to make sure you follow it to keep it up.

Example. You Buy a phone post paid and on a contract. The service provider will ask you for a deposit as security (Might or might now depends) and pull your credit score and it will go down by some points. Then for continuous 6 - 12 months it will be monitored that you pay your bills on time and bla bla and then it will be slowly within 6 - 12 months topped up back to same score + 10 or 20 points (Not sure about points its just an example) to help you keep a clean and decent credit history.

So be careful.

It's probably similar to the US. Things that can lower your credit score would be not paying your bills on time, not paying your bills at all, credit card bill almost close to your credit limit, applying for a lot of credit cards, not paying your car payments, not paying your mortgage, closing your bank account or credit card. Those are the things I could think of right now.

i am so glad to tell u all tht our prcs have been delivered on 4th of june exactly after 56 days...n yesterday they reached us (abroad) safe n sound in one piece.
