I just called FEDEX to find out how it works for them and shipping to POS. They told me that if you have a credit card (the person doing the shipping from JA) then they can use that to put a "prepaid" waybill in the package going to POS. The waybill from POS to JA does not get charged until the package goes "live" and then the tracking number goes "live" as well. I asked what to do if the person sending does not have a credit card and they suggested that you speak to the FedEx office in JA bc they may be able to arrange something to include a waybill to POS. Not sure if this helpful to anyone.

Stacy keep us posted on what happens when your hubby goes to DHL and how your process goes.

DEPENDING ON WHICH PERSON YOU SPEAK TO FROM FEDEX , you get a different version of how the process works. we spoke to fedex Jamaica, they said, the waybill from POS has to be prepaid WITH A BANK DRAFT MADE OUT IN US DOLLARS AND HE WAS HONEST , SAYING THAT IT HAS CAUSED PRoblems in the past, so they are weary of doing it that way. BUT AS YOU said, the shipper needs a fedex account attached to a credit card to get a prepaid envelop which is separate from the waybill. I think I am gonna go with Dhl.

Ya everything doesn't seem to difficult now that I read over everything over and over.. And POS is really good for reading emails right away.. Gonna email them and get hubby to write in his package about notifying us when passport is ready and that we couldn't do
A prepaid envelope overseas through DHL Jamaica

Does anyone know approximately how long it takes to approve the spousal permanent residence in Kingston after its opened? On ecas it says as of November 13 that ours is in process

atclarke, can you please tell me how did you go about paying your RPRF. Did you send the receipt via email? If so what was the email address used?

POS contacted my husband via email today asking for updated imm5669

Nice to finally have communication.

That is great news or at least it is something. Woo HOO!! Communication is always uplifting. They may extend your meds. Have you had your hubby redo his PC already? Do you have it on hand in case they ask for it so u do not lose time when they do finally ask for it?

Or you can email them. The address is included on the website. That's the fastest way. It goes right to Mississauga
