the med was done in september of last year, witch technically is expired after 12 months, files was send to Kingston in September as well. I think they are realy trying the clean the back log.
I hope that is it after that....

Oh wow, so they are not willing to extend yours. Well if I was you I would try to fight to make them extend it since you know they can do it. Thats what Im going to do. My hubby's meds will expired on Sept. 30 as mentioned on my electronic notes. I will send an email to make them extend it.

Meds are actually valid for 15 months as per the CIC website. I would ask for them to extend them and point out that they are valid for 15 months

Plenty of applications have been sent to POS to clear up the backlog, they can't hold our files forever and KG starts to really work hard when falls is at our door. The end is near my friends!!!

We just have to wait a little longer for a long and happy life with our reunited families.

Sammy do you have a link where it mentionned that is valid for 15 months because the only info I found on CIC says 12 months for applications of permanent residence.

I hope ur right.... Im on the verge of giving up, i have been so depressed and stressed out......

It is ridiculously sad if not inhuman to keep spouses appart for that long, and sweetie we all go crazy with that process. We have plenty of challenge in our live on top of all this, we have to be realistic it will always be that way, but with our other half to support each other it will be MUCH easier.

We cannot kill ourselves trying to change what we can't change, but we can decide to adopt a positive attitude to make this burden a tiniest bit lighter. Focus on what you can do to make a difference, your futur with hubby, your family, your friends, etc. anything that helps you and keeps you away from depression and drawning patterns. Happy days are near, very near. Soon all this will be but a faded memory.
