Exams was done at the time of application in September 2013, we didn't know that we had to redo it, but you do what you have to do….

Med are actually good for 15months from the time they are done so it is weird that they are asking for you to redo it. They will ask for you to redo it after the 15month mark or they can extend them at that time if everything is done on the file.

However - i know some on here were asked to redo them but I don't know if they were past the 15month mark or not.

It is kind of bizzare indeed, perhaps this is because the file was send to a different office….

I just received my electronic notes by email, and theres nothing about that my file has been transferred to PoS. Nothing about that they will extend medicals, they only mentionned that meds are valid until Sept. 30. And due date : 2015-01-13. So I will wait end of September and order notes again.

E-mail was send this week to us that the file was now in POS, we didn't get any news in almost a year and there you have it. I believe that they will work on files from kingston asap due to backlog.

We received e-mail today from POS that new medical has to be done and new police record required.
They are working on file I believe...

Interesting our first POS file that seems to be worked on by POS. Just strange that they are asking for new meds and not extending them. Really really hope that does not mean that they are planning on holding our files past the 15 month mark All this process and unknowns is complete and utter bullcrappola!! Also WTF is KGN up to since we have heard nothing in ages from them!!!

Anyone on the forum heard of any "non JAMFAM" files that have landed lately?

HEY JAMFAM...its puzzling to me too as to why POS is not extending the medicals to the 15 mnths. hopefully as two hearts says they wont be holding the files past the 15 mnths. but the good news is that they are actually looking at the files. unlike kgn who is yet to contact our forum members who have been diligently waiting. my patience have run low...

How about what is the 1st thing you request your spouse bring for you to eat when they pick you up from the airport?
for me its hot soup cuz my head kills me after my flight then the next stop is box food love me my french fried chicken or another interesting topic

We have the same ritual every single time. Two fresh Red stripes from the airport bar after the sweet kiss, then direction Megamart MoBay for the grossery and to stack up the bar 8), last stop before we reach home a cook shop on the road where we get that AMAZINGLY delicious fish cause we have much more important business to deal with than cooking diner when we get home lol!

Counting down the days until I find myself in my hubby's arms again, just can't wait!!!
We are going to party hard that night because it will be my sweet love 30th birthday! Already planned the designated driver so that I get my baby tipsy (he doesn't drink much, it will be easy ;D)

the med was done in september of last year, witch technically is expired after 12 months, files was send to Kingston in September as well. I think they are realy trying the clean the back log.
I hope that is it after that….
