PNP - Provincial Nominee Programme

this is when u filed through a direct province, in that u have settled in that province

I have applied through the MPNP - Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programme, i have to go to manitoba
with this you have get an affidavit of support from a close relative living there

Would this mean that you can't live anywhere else or is it for a time period?

yes u could but u would be breaking the immigration rules, cause that particular province nominated you and so they expect to come and build their province. In breaking those rules your relative who have sign the sworn affidavit might not be able to sign for another family member, not sure if for life or for a period of time

Haha Daintygirl - I'm sure there is a shelf life and you will be able to go as you please after x amount of years. If not that would be like jail and here in Canada we are proud to say it's a free country. Wish you the best in your journey and hope to hear about your landing story soon.

Daint girl not sure it varies... For me its only been since march that I submitted the papers and took 103 days just to get apporoval from canada and then have papers sent to kgn I here that's when the real waiting begins so far look on things I have seen from 5mths to almost 2 years (dear lord I hope to fall in the lower half). Blondie baby not sure which island they are on would have to ask but the cops name is patrick and the teachers name is garnett

Well am not married... I am being sponsored as a dependent of my mother. I am in my mid-twenties however I have never left school. I went from high school to college to university. So I'm a dependent over the age of 22 who is fully dependent on parent. I wish I could tell you what's happening with immigration, my mother decided to use a lawyer (a rather expensive lawyer) instead of listening to me.

Am kinda here by myself, mother and siblings (Canadians) live in Canada, trying to figure out how and where my life is going. Am getting older with no sense of direction.

SheriB, don't you ever give up on your dreams. Use this time to search your soul and find out what it is you want. You're young, and it's hard on young people to understand where they want to go, but it will all fall into place for you. My heart dropped when I heard your story it sounds so sad, but just knowing that you're staying in school, trying to keep out of trouble, doing the right thing gives me hope. Don't ever give up my young sister. The world is full of opportunities, and when you get to Canada so many doors will open for you. God has a great life in store for you, just wait and see. I'll be praying for you and I hope when you get to Canada it's close enough to Toronto that we can hook up one day so I can see how you're adjusting and if there's anything I can do to help.
