Thanks DG - to be honest, I thought I would be the weaker one but it appears as our days are counting down to getting the final approval I'm constantly having to keep his spirits up. I've been focused on keeping busy in a productive way of course and it's been a good journey so far but whenever I hear his voice, I can tell he's restless and anxious for us to be together. I tell him that until that day comes, we just have to make the best of everyday and that for now, we're just a phone call away and not to think about the distance. So one great thing we are focusing on right now is our 1 year anniversary on Aug. 10th. I won't be there for that date as my work schedule didn't permit but will be down there on Aug. 25 to Sept 9. He's planning for a really big anniversary event and we will be renewing our vows in the same church we got married.

Hey I think it would be great if we each could put up one of our wedding pictures on a post. Would love to put a face behind all these words of inspiration! But I don't know how to?

Halfmoon all the best in the renewing of your vows...that's so special. Happy Anniversary and safe travels when it comes. You are so right about the male/female dynamic. I found out that we need to allow our men to play their god-given roles and not expect them to act, think and feel as we do. If we support our men in what their doing, it may not be the way we would always do it, but show him some support regardless you'd be surprised at just how far your encouragement can take that man. Most of our men fail, because of women who don't believe in them. I told my husband, this time around, I promise to respect you and support you in all you do. He is always telling me how since we met his business is booming and he has such a new perspective on life. We need to believe in and boost up our men. That's our role in creation and when both husband and wife fall into alignment with the way God designed us, awesomeness happens in that marriage. Love you all and God bless you all.

OMG FAITH JUST WALKED INTO MY DOORS AT WORK JUST NOW
Since the beginning of our relationship I have always told my husband about my love and commitment to jamaica and how one day I would like to give back to my homeland one day .. I see there are so many people there in need and would love to help one day but don't know how to start ....and he always told me the same thing baby God put us together for a reason and one day we will be able to find a way to help.....

Well my work place ships chocolates and one of our clients is a company that does chocolates for fund raising and schools...churches etc... a customer comes to pick up and she and I started talking only to find out this lady is doing what I have always wanted to do she has a foundation that builds and supplies schools .... Her husband lives in Jamaica and they are building a school in ST.Ann Bay .... Wow I am soo excited I am checking them out right now to see if this is a legit foundation (because sad to say there are soo many people who deal with fraud and make organisations that are actually doing good look bad.) please pray with me that this is an actual positive foundation that I can join and lend my support (fingers crossed) ....this would make me sooo happy to fulfill my dream to help make peoples lives better

Okay, so do you want me to pick a spot for us to meet or would you rather do it? I'm open either way.
