Ok yes it shows a year from application approval. It also shows it moved from registry to a different location in Aug.

Wow; that's actually awesome news Wifey; that your file is not in the registry ;D; which officer does it say it is assigned to?

Based on my understanding it may mean that the officer is working on your file

So I had the privilege last night of dealing with someone (hubby) who is a little cranky because a friend of his whose wife lives in the US has gotten his Visa. Keep in mind they not only is he going to a completely different country, but they STILL applied about 4-5 months before us. Thank goodness his friend wasn't rude or anything, he was actually rather encouraging to my husband telling him to be patient because his time to be with wifey and make a family will come in God's time.

I guess it was just rough for him having it been someone so close to him, not hear-say through others. Rough night & morning to say the very least. :'(

Sorry to hear that I know it's rough better days are coming. Hubby is like so when will they call now that it's in process I told him soon just hold on. Still aiming for Xmas but it could be Jan

I know. I guess this is just linked to yesterday's conversation where it's an impatient process... and Kingston is all like "Hurry up and wait!" lol

I feel worse for him than anything. He's just waiting for his day to quit his job. Since we married, a lot of his co-workers are really mean to him. They try to force him to give them his tips (he's a Teppenyaki Chef) because he's married to a foreign so he doesn't need it. ARE THEY SERIOUS?!
