After the interview they had requested additional documents and they took the passports ever since which was on the 10th of May 2013,they sent the e-mail about the annual quota that they have to meet etc that was sent from June 18th from that nothing else my Lawyer send letters my husband send letters and nothing,so am waiting like everyone else. Am new to this website and I must say thanks for it, because I was really depressed I thought I was alone and you guys encourage me thanks again. I listen to this immigration program on Mondays 90.7fm you have three Lawyers one from Cdn,Eng and the US people can call and ask questions also.

your timeline is about the same as my own....not sure what annual quota they have to meet but I am betting they haven't filled that quota this year that is for sure! Nobody on the forum heard anything over the summer which is basically normal, they did it last year and this year again and then also we had the strike which finally ended a few weeks ago so that is alot of the delay from lately but they seem to have started up again. They sent my husband his ARC letter in August for us to pay the ARC and another girl from this forum Kingston had her passport from July 18th and it was finally returned Oct 11th. I am sure you will hear something soon! I will add you to the spreadsheet also. If you click on the link below my purple ticker you will see everyone else that is in this forum timelines'.

yes very stressing! 1 week away from hitting my 20 month timeline! it is depressing but i have faith that hubby and kids will be home for Christmas!

Sorry Chickie it's not 5 days it's more like???? .....my hubby is so afraid to leave jamaica. He told me after the funeral, but today I realize that he's scared . I was cussing him, but I totally understand he's leaving everything and everyone. My hubby is the 10th of 14 so he's sad but happy at the same time and he doesn't know how to say goodbye. Last week he told me to email immigration and found out when their gonna send his passport back and now he has it and he's taking his sweet time to come. I can't believe this some man have the most chat. He's such a big baby.I have to still remain patient. I'm hoping and praying that he will be here by Oct 23. I'm gonna give him some time.

hey there Jahdes......how are you doing.....i just want to know did they take the passport right after the interview was over or they gave it back to you and what other documents did they request you to submit when the interview was over......

Oh man I totally feel for you! I have a feeling my hubby will be the same way scared to come here he has never left the island before and this will be the first time flying. he says now that he will be fine but once it all is happening I think it may be a different story.

awwwwww that is understandable that he is scared but just keep reassuring him that you will be there for him. Is it possible for you to go and get him and fly back with him to make it any easier?

from her posts, she stated that her interview was in April 23 and they asked for her passport May 10th so 17 days after the interview she got PPR. The documents they needed was proof that her and hubby were living together as a couple in Canada.

I asked him if he wanted to come down and he said, "fi wah"...lol my hubby is so funny. He would never tell me that he's scared, but I know he is. He's gonna come for sure, but its just hard for him to say goodbye.
He already knows that I will be here for him. The problem is that he's leaving what he knows. He has no family here in Canada.

Hey there sis......we all know what you and hubby are going thru....i know when i get my visa in my hand that im going to want to take the whole jamaica with me and try to spend at least the last second i can spend here. that is what hubby is trying to do right now knowing that he is leaving jam down.... and you say he dont have any family in canada, the day that you say i do at your wedding you became his immediate family so please let him know that he has his new family to look after .....i hope that help sis. so glad that you and hubby will soon be together again.

awwww that is kinda funny and sad at the same time......funny cause he won't admit that he is scared but sad that he won't be near family but at least he will have you! ;D
