good morning everyone sorry i have been away for a few days on a business issue now that is out of the way. I can finally relax for a nano second and then its off again i go. I cant wait tomorrow this time i will be getting ready to board the plan to be in my sweeties arms by tomorrow afternoon ;D ;D
I cant wait to see him even though it has only been a few months it seems like a life time . I am so happy we will be breaking the news to kids that we are gonna adopt them and they too will one day be here in Canada with us ;D ;D

Good afternoon forum family, I see KG has gone silent on us again. Welcome to all the mewbies and congrats to those that have heard some news. We applied for a TRV a couple times as well and were rejected due to lack of ties to JA. We were able to get multiple TRV for friends that came up at xmas. They had secure ties with jobs, business and children that they had to go back for. So coco don't get your hopes up as a pretty slim chance that you'll actually get one, although it never hurts to try. Actually it can go to prove you want to be together and a TRV can make it happen quicker. Just don't set yourself up for disappointment if you're turned down, most of us have been there.
All these anniversaries reminded me of the following:

Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was
really pissed.

She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!"

The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Bob has been missing since Friday.

I can never understand how someone can be denied for not travelling before as how can you travel if they keep denying you a visa? It doesn't matter what you submit as if they decide not to give you they wont. I have never submitted an invitation letter and all those other stuff people speak about except a bank statement and a job letter and even the job letter sometimes they don't take from me, when they used to interview. With those IOs you just never know what they're up to. First time I went I got through but then I had a US visa so not sure if that helped but people go without any visas and get through so there's no real rhyme or reason for denying you sometimes, just silly reasons.

Having all that house, job, own business,money, education, land, vehicle and even police record don't mean you will get. This is my own experience; the first time i tried for a TRV i was tooo happy in love and left out a few things off the form i got a call from a someone at the embassy asking for at the time my 'girlfriend' address which was clearly there already,i told her and she told me i should do over the form and try to answer all the check list on the paper, when your denied a TRV they send you a checklist of reasons,so the second time i made sure that everything was checked and rechecked, send it in this time smiling because i think i did a good job, i was denied again; why because i didn't travel before. you spend all your all your life going through a system of life to built yourself in your own country yet they deny you for not traveling before, how can you travel without getting a visa'
when i got back the checklist this time of the possible 25 reason reason they can deny you, i was denied for not traveling before.
