My wife sent them a email on the 1st of April and she still haven't got a respond.

so you will have to get your wife to contact whoever is the MP in her area because they are all different depending on where she lives in Mississauga. She is the one that will have to contact them and just tell her to explain that it has been over a year now since you applied and you haven't heard anything. My MP would not email Kingston until after the 18 months but all of them are different.
