Jammy - KFC here has a bad rap... one thing that makes me sick is how they make their gravy.. ok ok.. we all know most fast food places has powder gravy that you add water too.. but they actually take the fat from the deep fryer and make their gravy... ok ok.. we all do it at home, after we roast a chicken we take the chicken drippings and make some delicious gravy... but from the dutty deep fryer! YUK!

Do they have poutine in Jamaica at KFC?....

first off whats with the new sandwhich they offer right now... two peices of deep fried chicken rapped around a peice of cheese with no BUN!

anyways.. nuff about kfc... people call me kfc all the time joking around with my name... NO NOT A NEW NICKNAME... i will stick to ribs! lol

I am writing in regards to my husbands file. It has been 3 months since we have last heard from you, at which time you requested he re-do his medical and police clearance. Both of those requests have been completed and sent to you over two months ago.
We are now entering our thirteenth month of processing and are seriously wondering if there is an end in sight. We have completed everything requested of us including paying all fees, providing original documentation, redoing the medical and police clearance.
Could someone please notify me of the status of my husbands file and perhaps give me an estimated timeline from here, as to how long before we may resume our lives together.
I completely respect what you do as immigration officers to ensure only true and genuine relationships make it through this process, and I am thankful for that. The unfortunate part for my husband and I is that we are truly in love, and would like to begin the future we have planned. We want a family and want to be a family. We can not choose who we fall in love with. This process has forced us to put a hold on our dreams and has challenged our love for one another. We both believe will be a stronger more unified couple having gone through this process, but we are ready for our life together to begin.
I do sincerely hope that your response to this email will be a personal response. So often the responses are very generic and do not respond to the questions at hand nor do they reflect our specific file. Each time you respond, you request we provide you with personal, individual, file specific information; yet your response to our email could easily pertain to just about anyone, as is does not address our case specific questions and inquiries. I do genuinely hope you will take the time to look at my husbands file specifically and provide us with the information requested.

Well goodday everyone. I certainly knew something was going on when I last left off we were at page 210 and today 215. Congrats HF great news and speedy I will say. Missing that is a very nice letter the least they can do is answer you directly instead of the usual one.
No news here on our end hubby took a walk to the post office today poor guy just keeps hoping for something. Hope everyone had a great moms day for those of you with kiddies.
Lets hope for some more good news from our friends.

KMC -dont hesitate to ask any questions... nothing annoying about it! even if you ask it a million and one times i will reply a million and one times (i have nothing else to do at work)!


the names i listed were those who all got through under 7 months from when KG receives our file... Approx 1 week after we got approved.

In total from the time i sent off my application to CIC Missisauga it was 8 months for me!

The 7 months time line for 30% and 15 months for 80% are from when KG receives your file not from when you receive your AOR...

My AOR says that they started processing my file about 2 months after they received it - so start counting from the estimated time the file got to KG (about 1 week after you get approved)

I really hope it makes them do something....his BF is the 16th which is this SUNDAY so i know they aren't looking at it then so i figure they might as well brush the dust off of it a few days early....crossing my fingers it works.
