Sorry to interrupt the astrology chat (hehe, I'm a sagitarius, what does that mean?! I'm afraid to know lol)

I was wondering if anyone has instructions for me on how to apply for CAIPS or GCMS notes (whichever is the ones that does not slow down processing). I used to know but I think there's been a change in forms or how you do it (based on what I read in here awhile back) and I have no idea how to do it.. so if anyone would be so kind as to explain it to me, I'd really appreciate it.

I think it was this thread that someone laid it out not so long ago but when I search I get a bunch of other stuff and not the details I need.

Welcome back halfmoon. I know how you feel. Not sure what to suggest, I do know that this year they started implementing that 10 month rule for MP inquiries. I didn't feel that the MP inquiry I did last year did anything for me anyways...in a nutshell it came down to "they're working on it".

Some people, like Anada who are in regular contact with Kingston may get through quickly, others contact them and they still wait 1yr + It really is the luck of the draw, and depends on the IO you're dealing with. One thing that was suggested to me from a friend of mine who's husband came up last year was to write Kingston an email that says basically:

I FILED MY APPLICATION ON XX XX XXXX, I CONTACTED CIC-MISSISSAUGA AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT MY FILE WAS SENT TO YOUR OFFICE ON XX XX XXXX. WE WERE ADVISED BY CIC-M TO CONTACT YOU DIRECTLY TO INQUIRE ON WHICH MONTH OF APPLICATIONS YOU ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON

>> If you decide to send an email send it from the applicant's email!!!!!

After I sent this email, my application went into process the next day!!! But again, I think it all depends! HTH

I've always used the link that takes you to the CIC website for Case Specific inquiries. It's noted on the sponsor approval letter.
