    This was the info stated in the letter my husband received to redo police record check. My husband also took the receipt to the station did his prints and paid for desired pick up time as Sammystorm mentioned.

    Hey!! There is a new process in Jamaica for police record checks where you have to go to your local tax office to pay & request police check and then you take the reciept to your local police station to pick it up in 1 week (if you pay extra for express) or 2-3 weeks later.

    Hello there, nope no children just my husband...sorry it went in process in 10th month (Oct) we redid our medicals in Nov and got PPR in Dec. I have no idea why it has taken so long for us, very stressful!!

    Happy New Year Longdistanceloves... As for me I scanned any "extra" stuff and sent a client specific email and attached the documents to the email. I found out that they received them when my MP did an inquiry.

    Yes, sometimes it can be more than 1 year. For me, I just wish in the beginning I had set my mind on 1 year instead of like 3, 4, 5, 6 months, would have saved me alot of heartache!! But if it did happen in that time I would be pleasantly suprised--you know what I mean?
