Fingerprints submitted - Sep 6.

No official email about how and where to give interview yet, only updated in tracker.
Spreadsheet updated. You will get the interview email sometime next week as they send it closer to the interview date.

Scarborough office has been blasting through applications. Most are being completed in 2-3 months from AOR
The Scarborough officers become impatient once the application hits 3 months :D but on the other hand, Vancouver officers only wake up when the application hits 3 months :p

Citizenship test
Citizenship test status has been updated to Completed on Sept 5th. Please update my timeline.

Interesting, the date showed up on 5th, but I've just got the update this morning.

LPP is still in progress.

Congratulations, the spreadsheet is updated.

The tracker always has a delay of 2 business days so the update from Sept 5th shows up only today, Sept 7th.

So, I should keep my hopes up to see an update tomorrow, on Sunday, if there was any work done on Friday, the 5th

As my test is completed now and it been 3 months for my application, does this mean it is more likely to get Fingerprints/ Interview requested? Or is there still a chance for me to get away without these and get Oath invite. I know its all individual based but just an idea from all the trends you have seen so far.
I have travel plans in mid November and I just came to know that surrendering my current citizenship is a good 3-4 week process and then I will need a visa as well.

Based on the spreadsheet, it looks like your background check is still not completed. This means you have a greater chance of getting a fingerprint request shortly.

As far as surrendering your current citizenship is concerned, yes it takes 4-6 weeks. However, you can apply for e-visa and travel using that. There is no requirement to complete the surrender process to apply for evisa and it is usually approved in less than 48 hours.
