There is a chance of getting interview now; however, not everyone gets it. So, be prepared to attend the interview if one is scheduled.

If you don't get an interview, the next step would be "Decision Made" on your application (ECAS) and concurrently, Language, Physical Presence and Prohibitions will be set to "Completed" on the status dashboard.

There is a wait after that and then oath is scheduled.

I completed my exam almost a month ago now, and everything else is now showing as Completed except exam and Oath. Exam is still showing In Progress. Does that mean I have chances of the interview?

It is unlikely you'll receive an interview after this.

I am not in spread sheet. I applied for citizenship in June 2020 and in process since December 2020. Background check done since February 2021 and I have still not received invite for test. I called last week and was told everythinglooks good file please wait for test invite. Visa office Vancouver.

Hi all. I’m a June 2020 applicant from Toronto, AOR Oct. 31, in progress December 22 but I haven’t received any test invite. My file was last updated on April 23, 2021. I raised a webform a few days ago but no reply yet. Anybody else with similar timelines? Is it a good idea to call IRCC?

We are in the same boat. Last update was April as well. Background check done. Every other thing is in progress. At this point, I am just going to not bother about the application anymore. By the way, my application is in Edmonton. They move slower than a tortoise.

My background check isn’t even done. Everything is still in progress meanwhile some December 2020 have taken oath.

I have same timeline as yours, office is Mississauga. Even I called IRCC last week and they said it is just waiting game. So wait for next step. Everything in progress in new tracker. Hope things move faster after Ontario open phase-3 from Friday . Finger crossed.

No, it doesn't mean that. Vancouver has been sending FPs for applicants in various offices for quite some time now.

Hello all,

I receive an update last week in July 7th

Prohibition and physical presence are now marked as completed

Language skills in progress and test and ceremony not started

I'm +55 so I won't need a test and I think language skills is not needed either. Do you think next step would be interview possibly or perhaps a ceremony letter after they mark test not needed. Any insight would be helpful! Thanks and good luck to everyone!
