Guys some good news, the ceremony is scheduled for Nov 21, 2022. Pretty excited! But didn’t receive the official ceremony invite. Anyone knows how long it takes for the oath ceremony letter to arrive and if it’ll be in person or via Zoom?

You should receive the details in email a week before your ceremony.

Mine was been open October 7 but nothing change still in process but everything are completed, except for the oath ceremony. They said they don’t need anything anymore and all documents was already with the office responsible for my application. I emailed them told them was passed the processing times no answered yet.

You should receive the oath letter anytime now. They seem to pushing it for the October 2020 applicants.

Hope you receive good news soon.
I just checked the application tracker and see the oath ceremony updates! I don't know if it's the call(agent said my application is overdue 2 months and sent a reminder to the office) or Oct 2020 applications are finally getting processed, but I am very glad to see updates.

Although I haven't received any ceremony invite emails yet, just saw the update in the tracker.

Hello fellow October 2020-ers! Can you believe it has taken nearly 27 months already??

I remember submitting the application, masked up and everything, overly cautious due to COVID. We have since a new US president, experienced the huge convoy protests, got rid of the masks; I have graduated from university, changed two jobs, moved cities. Boy, time flies!

Not sure my citizenship application can say the same though; it's been sitting in that Scarborough office for 27 months.

The oath was completed successfully on November 21, 2022. I am waiting for the citizenship certificate. It will come from the Mississauga office. I will keep you guys posted on the timelines. I think it should come by mid-next week ~ 2.5 weeks. Fingers crossed!

The final tale of the tape for my citizenship application:

Citizenship Application Status
CPC:
Toronto; Type: Single; PPD: 1115;
Sent: Oct 06, 2020; Delivered: Oct 09, 2020; AOR: Jan 28, 2021;
IP: Feb 23, 2021;
Test: Feb 27, 2022;
PP RQ: May 06, 2022;
Interview: Jul 14, 2022;
DM: Nov 22, 2022;
Oath Letter: Nov 30, 2022
Oath: Jan 06, 2023

This means the full process has taken 2 years, 2 months, 26 days. The timeline given was 12 months back in October 2020.
