My husband received a passport request today. I update the schedule!

The email they sent said:

"Please be advised that we have concluded processing the file and wish to convoke applicants for final review and possible visa issuance on "date". Documents required:

Passport
2 visa photos"

Can anyone confirm if this means the interview is for sure waived? I had received GCMS notes awhile back that said "SELDEC INT recommend waived" so I just want to be sure.

Hmm, I think I am the only June applicant who's waiting to hear from CPC-Ottawa. ECAS still says "application received". Sent emails to CIC on December 5 and then again January 5 but have heard nothing. Getting kind of nervous at this point.

Nope,I'm still waiting too...wouldn't say I'm nervous,more tired of waiting..

Yeah,they requested documents which I sent in October.

My Medicals expired a week ago and I've heard nothing from them.
I have emailed them a couple of times and have heard nothing back.

generally, fbi records are valid as of the day CIC received it (Which is the applicaiton received date). medicals can be extended, and there is still plenty of time before it's even an issue. more likely than not, your husband will be approved well before it even matters.

I'm also from June Applicants and still havent heard anything from them since they sent a letter saying they have forward my file to Dakar...the waiting is just a Damn suffering.

same this getting harder and harder by the day - i am literally a mess...

I suppose I had really high hopes given how quickly US applicants were getting their COPRs. Kinda sucks to be an exception. I don't mind waiting but the lack of updates is somewhat concerning.

Don't feel too bad, a lot of applications have ground to a halt because of the holidays. Seems like where before there was someone getting DM at least once a week we haven't seen a move since christmas.
