you won't receive a letter notifying you of the decision. since your husband submitted his passport, he will receive it with the visa and his copr in the mail.

When he went to the embassy to drop off his passport they gave him a 'ticket' as he will be going back to pick it up in person, rather than having it mailed. So hopefully they will send some sort of communication when the passport is ready...

every office has a different proceedure, so my guess is when he gets his passport returned to him, his COPR will be with it. the passport and COPR go together.

Visa and COPR received at the VO today. 7 months total processing time from the date we sent the application to CIC Mississauga to the day my husband picked up his passport with the Visa/COPR. We really can't complain! Landing date will be this Saturday ;D

Thanks for everyone's support and advice. Hopefully everyone still waiting will be reunited as soon as possible.

Me too! Picked it up today, and I also sent it on June 11.

Hopefully everybody will get theirs soon as well!

Our application still says application received .Going back to join my husband for a few weeks.Lets hope something changes and the brown envelope comes through that mail box while i am back home with him ..I call Wales Home too then when i come back to Canada i also say i'm going home . Hope we all have some good news this month.

I just received my regular marriage certificate in the mail today! Headed back to accountants this week to sort that out and hopefully everything will come together for me to send it off! Enjoy your time with the hubby! I'm lucky I get to stay with my husband here but did 2 years of dating apart so I understand!

I have no idea why they didn't except the first one . Can you see any difference in this one?

This is the short form and actually looks like a certificate. The long form I sent in actually has more information so I have no idea what their problem is. I just do what they want.

Yeah I sent both with my application because I didn't know which one they needed! They give you no guidance.
