Hi friends,
Just a small question on upfront RPRF amount.
If I am accompanied with my wife and a son (11 years) ,I am suppose to pay 490 CAD for myself and 490 CAD to my wife (i.e 980 CAD in total)
I may not pay for my son right?
And the number of applications selected against the payment will be 2 and not 3??

yes you are right. i have paid in the same way.

Just an hour ago we received our Passport request.

Please requesting everyone to go and meet your local MP's with a letter stating your problem.

Here MP's are reachable and most of them are very helpful and responsive.

Hope everyone hears good news soon.

Congrats on rare 1st-review PPR. Can you share your MP's response if you got any?

I haven't tried but other June folks' MP stories didn't seem successful.

Maybe your MP or the CIC person your MP talked to happened to be helpful, or could it be coincidence that your case started to move anyway regardless of your MP?

Right , MP office told me your "criminality is in Progresss" , They can not do anything on this , Criminality check is a big excuse for delay, I hope others are having same situation

I just called the call center again not hoping much useful information from them.
But if I heard him correctly, he said my file went into review today.
Hopefully, I hear something soon.

I hope that is true.. But you know I have some (a lot) doubt in those agents. Can you Order a GCMS note tomorrow, so at least we can confirm this.

I already ordered GCMS notes few days ago. Unfortunately, those notes won't contain any information regarding file going under review today.

on side note.. my friend who also applied mid june got email on 22 Sep to renew passport and on 24th Sep got RPRF..
hopefully end is in sight for all of us.
