    IRCC Survey question

So I just received an email this evening from IRCC. Looks like the email had been sent in error. La version française suit le texte anglais. Hello, On May 20, 2022, you may have been sent an email with the subject line “RESEND: IRCC Visitor Visa Refusal Survey” from...

    IRCC Survey question

Hi Folks, This afternoon I received an email from <IRCC.COMMDoNotReply-NePasRepondreCOMM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca> asking me to participate in a survey. The text in the email refers to a recent IRCC Temporary Resident visa (Visitor Visa) application that was refused. I am a bit confused as I haven't...

Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I landed at the Calgary Office (CIC office in the Harry Hays Building) on January 12th. Today, I received the card (so exactly 6 weeks from landing). Looks like the card was issued on Feb 15th so 34 days to process (from landing to issue date).

    June 2014 - CEC applications

I got my COPR just before Christmas (I'm from a visa-exempt country). Hoping to activate it in the next week. I did my medical on Jan 28th 2015 and on the COPR I received, the latest date to activate PR is Nov 28, 2016. So they must have extended the medical validity; in my case for 10 months.

Sending COPR back to OTTAWA for Correction

I actually got through and spoke to an agent this afternoon. She sent me a link for 'Application for a Verification of Status or Replacement of an Immigration Document' and go in and complete the form 'request to amend the record of landing'. She said if I mark it 'urgent' that it should get...

Sending COPR back to OTTAWA for Correction

Thanks again! The CIC lines are busy but I guess with Christmas break, everyone is trying to contact them! Good idea re getting the copy notarized as a certified true copy, I'll do that as well. Not sure about the code to be used. I think I will wait to speak to CIC first to see if I can...

Sending COPR back to OTTAWA for Correction

Really appreciate the response. I'm from a visa exempt country and am in Calgary. For common-law, do you think it would be ok to send a photo-copy of my common-law declaration instead of the original (only have the one original remaining as already sent original to CIC in September 2014)? I was...

    COPR Information to be corrected

Hello, I hope that you can help me. I received my COPR late last week (applied under old CEC in June 2014). I am from a visa-exempt country. I checked and noticed that there are some errors on it. 1. My marital status is down as being 'Single'. I became Common-Law about 3 months after I had...

My COPR came in the mail this morning :). I rang CIC as I want to do an inland landing. I'm in Calgary and she said that it takes 3 weeks for the local office to email me to confirm an appointment. Merry Christmas and I hope everyone who is waiting hears back very soon.

Congrats!!! :) Definitely a nice Christmas present to get! I rang cic this morning and was told that my COPR document was mailed (standard mail) to my home address December 17th. I also got the rprf request on the same day but emailed them straightaway with the receipt. I'm hoping I get it...

    June 2014 - CEC applications

You're welcome :) I think the RPRF request must have just been sent automatically to me. I'm from a visa exempt country so I'm just hoping the COPR has been issued. Not really expecting anything until after the new year.

    June 2014 - CEC applications

I got an RPRF request on Dec 17. I had already paid upfront in February so I sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and CC'ed cpco-cost-recovery@cic.gc.ca on Dec 17 and explained how I had paid already and attached the receipt. I checked ecas Dec 19 (morning) and it changed from 'in process'...

    June 2014 - CEC applications

Checked ecas this morning and it has changed to Decision Made :) I got the RPRF fee request on Thursday afternoon. I sent them the receipt a few minutes after that. Hope the COPR doesn't take too long to arrive in the mail.

    June 2014 - CEC applications

I just did exactly that. I think the RPRF request was probably done automatically because on my GCMS notes I can see that they received the payment back in February. Really appreciate your feedback!

    June 2014 - CEC applications

In the last few minutes, I just received my request to pay the RPRF fee. I had paid this upfront in February, had already emailed the receipt to cost recovery and it had updated on my gcms notes that payment received. Should I forward the receipt to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca, including all my...

    June 2014 - CEC applications

I called cic this morning and got through. The agent I spoke to confirmed all my details and then put me on hold for a few minutes. He came back and told me my final review was complete (done on Sat Dec 12th, it had been recommended pass on gcms notes Oct 14th) and a decision has been made. I...
