After over a year of frustatting processes here...I have decided to move back to states. Now I can understand why HW movies from states makes fn of CAN..

Till now we are waiting for our applications to be picked up in second review period. Seems like the time has come but only for second review applicants and seems like things are moving good for them.

We, sitting and waiting here without any reason like a stupid (no second review, GCMS good, i.e.,). How ridiculous... I just got my work permit extension which is valid for one year. Hopefully, will hear something before my work permit expires. :-[ :-[

If your application is good then its just a matter of time. Unfortunately, we don't know when that time will come.

It's all good with the application but June batch is in bad backlog shape..trust me....looks like same case as of 2008 or 2010 applicants when people kept waiting and latest their packages were sent back or people were asked to reapply.

Hope they have not misplaced our app package....best of luck to all of you guys.

I don't think so because now cec program it stop and every one know it replace with EE.

Dear all,
It might be that every one has to wait 13+ months even you pass first review like me, I got Mr required near to 13 months and next intent letter to live outside of Quebec.

Admittedly CIC is a 'douchebag', but immigration in the States could be far worse and take 6,7,8 years or over a decade (and could still fail). They value neither education or work experiences and give amnesty to illegal immigrants instead. Phds have to go home and smugglers got their green cards over there. USA is better than Canada in most aspects except immigration.

You never know...US might improve the situation but I can say with this pace, CAN will be in same bad shape. Despite of having land, resources, people...CAN don't want to become mature in processes (e.g Banking...one of worst I have seen)

Canada is not a promising country I agree. As for immigration, US's problem is that the policies stay unchanged for 10, 20 years and never improved at all. Exactly the opposite, Canada's problem is that it keeps changing all the time (every year and twice a year) but never improved either as we know. So, both are bad to be fair.

I applied second GCMS notes after paying upfront RPRF last month. My notes came with an update of RPRF paid along with recommendation passed and other information similar to first GCMS notes which confirms that atleast electronic file is there.

I thought of contacting MP but from othre posts came to know that CIC sometimes say that processing period starts from AoR date. I will wait for an other month to contact MP. I really don't want to hear same words from MP that we hear from CIC call center (in-progress, within the processing period... bla...blah.....). No matter what, I am going to send an email every week once my 13 months processing period is completed.

I guess as soon as 13 months are completed (from the date of application received) people should push for the status for their application no matter what is the mode.
There is clearly, some glitch in the process and there is no explanation as of now which is convincing for the fact that June applications which are all good, medicals done, are on hold and July, Aug applications are getting PPR.

Today for me is exactly 13 months. I just called CIC but nothing I can get back. Whatever I asked, they said I need to wait more and they cannot do anything :-X waiting is too tired

Want to clarify that AUG is not getting MRs as well yet except few. Only JUL guys are lucky ones.
MP cant do anything in this process. There are many times MP tried to intervent and CIC justified that process needs to be followed.

Got my first GCMS notes...and everything is "recommended pass" no negative comment. I wonder why the delay.
