Urgent-Can a US Citizen enter in Canada by land (border) with having 2 months Passport validity? P.S. - US citizen currently residing in Canada and need to cross the border and come back to complete PR landing. Have a COPR letter issued by CIC.

Where do you see "Your application has been approved" status. Is it ECAS or you get another email after sending passports (PPR)? Please clarify

Yes, in Canada but if you received medical retake request and if you see it's still valid, you can send an email and give a try.

Also if anyone received MR request, make sure you check old GCMS notes for Medical expire date. My was valid but I got message for Medical retake. I sent email to CIC and it was extended and you know what, I got PPR this week :D Rest of applicants can check the same to avoid medical expenses...

May be already asked in forum but can anyone tell how long does it take to get PPR passport back from Ottawa office? Let say I sent today from Toronto, ON. Any recent experience please? BTW - In recent conversation with CIC, all June 2014 applications must be closed by 18-March

Call CIC agent and ask when they can take next action on file....you will be having an answer (as of today June 2016). We should keep hope but that's the fact buddy as like others I am also waiting for PR.

Yes I called. I am June 19, 2014 applicant and now they can only take any action in June 2016. When I called last time, it was May 2016. I don't even have words to praise CIC work..

As per CIC, next 6 weeks are fully dedicated for "refugee immigration activities" so all other things (like WP, VISA and of course CEC PR application processing) is further delayed.
