We can understand your situation. I don't think many left from June. Did you apply for GCMS notes? Did you find any useful information in the notes. I would suggest, contact your local MP. Sometimes, it helps.

I landed at Peace bridge at Forte Erie, Niagara. They just asked for my Passport and CoPR. I even forgot to take my exiting work permits(I found this one later after coming home). Safer side, take bank statement if you have enough funds or employment letter having you annual salary and address...

You will receive only one email (no separate emails like medicals). Just, sent all original passports along with the copy of this email. (Ready for Visa) for visa stamping.

There is no specific timelines to receive PPR after RPRF. You may receive Ready for Visa email at any time. I got my RPRF on December 4 2015 and PPR on Feb 9th 2016.

I would suggest wait for some more time. We, June applicants , waited almost an year for no reason. Our status was same as yours (security check in progress) for almost an year. I am sure, you don't have to wait for that long as CIC targeted to complete all old applications before this June...

Better not to make the things complicated to save just a couple bucks. Canada post guys know it very well. Just ask them for xpresspost with return envelop. You will get a signature acknowledgement even it is a PO box.

Most of the time, you don't get any response or acknowledgement after paying RPRF (I didn't get). If it is not upfront RPRF then you will get PPR email at any time from now. BTW, what do mean by reflected in my Visa statement

I have already obtained a new SIN. I am least bothered about ECAS status. Hopefully, we will receive our PR card within time frame. All the best !!!.

You can't apply for a SIN renewal without a valid permit but you can work on the same if your work permit is expired and waiting for the new work permit. Until your PR decision is made, you keep renewing you work permit as and when needed and apply for new SIN after receiving new work permit...

Just receive my PPR today. As usual, latest entry and Org. entry dates are not correct in CoPR. Assuming, this won't be any issue. It took 16 days to receive stamped passport. Planning to go for landing this weekend.

Sent passport for visa stamp on Feb 16 and still waiting to receive the same. Work permit is going to expire on Mar 25th (fingers crossed).
