My App was delivered on 2nd June ...But today i got to know from bank that the DD is yet to be encashed.....
Does it take so long ??
I had sent an enquiry mail on 19/08/2011......awaiting for reply..I am nervous now....

I am soo happy because I Just received PER this early morning 24 AUG and so I have reason to continue with you guys in this thread on the way to obtain a leaf visa.

I think it means the number of days that has gone by after receiving PER

hey guys , i just got to know that my applicationis rejected. the reason they said that my language test IELTS was of acedemic module n they need general module. unfortunate. take care guys n all the best to all of u.

Really sorry to hear that. Guess you can sen anoda as soon as you do the general one then. So you are not on NOC 1122

I used lawyer to submit my paper the end of May. And today I receive documents back which said I'm not eligible for skilled worker category. The etter was same like somebody already pasted. I applied from U.S., Currently I have working visa in U.S., I assume it's enough credit to prove I have professional skills.But it didn't work. I'm freaking out. Is there anybody who knows try twice and worked. I desperately need to know.

My NOC is 3142(physiotherapist)...
I have few queries:-
1. Do we have to get a new PCC and reference letters to reapply......???
2. Also i did not get a refernce letter frm my previous employer so i had attached a statutory declaration saying that i did not recevive from them....But i do have a letter frm my cuurent employer...Will taht be fine..
3. Regarding prrof of funds..I had shown Some FD and a liitle from my savings account...
I have some loans running from my savngs account which i took for some other personal reson....Somewhere on the forum i read that they may ask ur account statements ...should i close the Loans to be on a safer side.....

Basically i wanna mak sure that i send a fool proof package.......

So Sorry to hear about that. However, My friend do you think about attend an IELTS General in the meantime while you are waiting for your document is returned (normally it will take 1 to 2 months) and re send it after you get a new IELTS result. I believe that if you can get a good result in ACADEMIC IELTS and you will get better result in GENERAL as well. DON"T GIVE UP GUY.

Yes I received PER email from CIC and there are two number on it.
_ UCI number with 8 digits
_ Application number (I think it is a file number) start by "E" and 9 digits follow.
