Pretty sure it's any time you've been denied, you just have to be honest. The question denied to enter canada means at the border or visa rejection?
Relax, it's totally normal to have your spouse present. It's required for ALL inland spousal sponsorships to have their spouse present.Hello everybody,
Someone can help? I received the Etobicoke landing letter for 23 March, please can you tell me which type of question they usually ask for inland spousal sponsorship? They request also the ID and my husband presence ,it is normal? it is write the landing letter. Should bring the birth certificate of my dependants
Yea, i have been denied with a visitor visa in the first time that i applied because they didn’t think that i had enough ties with my home country. And then for student visa for the same reason. Hopefully that doesn’t affect my application. When it says that “We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Vancouver Immigration will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application.” is it pretty much 100% that I will get my pr? Because I am thinking about moving to Vancouver, and I don’t want to spend $5000 moving and not getting my pr lolPretty sure it's any time you've been denied, you just have to be honest.
Basically you want your answers to match what you put on your application.
It's really not hard just basic information that you should be able to answer easily.
Nothing to be nervous or worried about to be honest.
Thanks, that was helpful.I haven't had mine yet, but I do know what others have said.
It's basically just the officer asking a few questions like:
"Do you still want to sponsor your spouse?"
"Have you ever been denied entry to Canada?"
"Have you ever committed any crimes?"
Also, if you have anything you want to bring to Canada at a later date, make sure to fill out the Goods to Follow form so you don't get taxed on it whenever you DO bring it over. The officer needs to stamp it at the time of landing otherwise you're screwed.
It's like a 15 minute appointment.
You'll probably spend more time waiting for it than the actual thing.
oh really, then I am not sure anymore what it means? I just guessed by the date they might be talking about landing letter(as its same). I think better to wait for actual letter, ECAS is not really that helpful these days except the dm part. You can't rely on it.I have the same on my ecas sponsor side ”We sent you correspondence on March 13 2019 anout decision on your application” but never received an email that day just on march 15 a dm letter

What’s the drivers license for? Neither of us has oneAll done
The interview was not an interview but rather handing over the COPR letter. We were given the 10-11 slots at Calgary CIC and there were like 10 other couples in that slot. The call-in notice was taken at the reception. We were called at the booth at around 10:30am, the lady behind the counter asked us if either one of us have any criminal record, took the pictures, asked for my driver's license and then asked my wife to sign the COPR. Took couple of minutes. I don't remember her asking for the payment confirmation receipt or the existing/expired resident permits. Another 10 - 15 minutes for the SIN number and we walked out of the building Easier than expected!
Good luck everyone!
Just to check your IDs.What’s the drivers license for? Neither of us has one
Uhm because we don’t have a car?Just to check your IDs.
I don’t know why you guys didn’t get your driver licenses. You need to show them your ID proof. Anyways you can take anything else with you that have sponsor and PA’s address.
My husband also received AIP a few minutes later, at 4:44.OMG, I received SA at 4:38 PM. Totally was not expecting it

Lol You could get a learners driver license just by writing the test. You don’t need car for that. And also some provinces make Photo IDs. They look similar to a driver license.Uhm because we don’t have a car?
