Called IRCC today, they said a Social Assistance enquiry was sent to Province to check if i ever received assistance (Never applied for it or received it) on July 29.



I provided Notice of Assessment, T4 and T1 as a proof of income when applying

Does anybody know how long these enquiries take for Brampton Ontario?

You only applied in June and got AOR less than a month ago. This is just normal processing things don’t happen immediately. All of these things take time you just need to be patient. If you obsess about each step like this you are going to go crazy. Proof of income does not mean you have never taken social assistance.

Just to echo on another member's reply.
It's only been only 2 months since you applied. Majority of the applicants take about a year to process.
Social Assistance enquiry is normal process.
Do not stress about it now.
