I just want to share the great news I received today,

My spouse received an email from CPC-Ottawa requesting for her passport and 2 photos for them to be able to issue her the visa and COPR.

That's great news. Congrats! I received that email from CPC-Ottawa 2 weeks back, and I had sent my passport. My case is showing as approved and closed, but still no sign of my passport.
I have asked so many times in the forum if anyone had any idea on the timeline on passport return, but got no reply. Hope you get yours soon :)

The notes are good for you, to know what they are thinking on your case.
It wont pressure or affect them at all.

Hi Sohini,

We just sent my spouse's passport and her photo with it thru Canada Post Xpresspost. Coz it says on the email that they don't accept any other courier, in case you're in Canada.

Did you use Canada Post? Just hang in there

Hello,

MY WIFE WAS APPROVED! She's going to be a permanent resident! :)

It took two days after our background check. What happens now?! Haha!

Keep it up, friends. Praying for quick results for everybody else!

Your wife can request them on your behalf!
hi Penelope..Any news..?

Our app updated to Background check "In progress" on October 22nd.

However, Review of Eligibility still says "Review in progress"- is this normal? Would they be working on 2 different sections at the same time?

If she has a visa exempt passport, you just have to wait for the COPR in the mail now! Congrats!!!

Congrats on the progress!

Yes this is normal. They will not update the eligibility until they are done the background check!
