I appreciate that, and your positivity! From what it looks like in this thread, you received a decision made only one week after your background check was being processed!

Today i received an email that our application has been updated, i went online and there is no update.

Yesterday i received an email requesting an interview next month, but online it still said "not needed at this time"

No update on ECAS either.

His background was completely clean so there wasn't much for them to find, haha. Hoping the same for you!

Hopefully, you are right!

Hopefully, they change their minds about the interview too..!
they granted me a visitors visa with one year validity to be in Canada.

The tickets to Greece for the interview now range from 1200-1800$

I have ordered GCSM notes as well, just in case i see that they have lost any of our supporting documents.

I mean, interview to determine if the relationship is real?

We were married in the 70's have three kids and three grandchildren! AND i used to be a PR... LOL

Anyways, whatever they need, we will do!

Weird... You are the one person from Ottawa whose application received on August but nothing has happened.

Thank you, I will try though it's hard not to get discouraged. I'm assuming at this point if I called they'd tell me nothing because the wait time is technically 15 months.

You're not alone I filed on July 19, AOR1 received on Aug 20, SA on Aug 30, Start processing application on Sep 2. Since then, there's nothing changed.

It says it takes 30 business days (which for me is cutting it close for the interview)
but it also says they are experiencing high volume right now- hope they come faster.

I have seen in some cases that proof and photos have been lost- and that is what they have asked me for, more proof- though again we are married from the 70's and have 3 kids and 3 grandchildren-- i've sent plenty of proof.
I have a hunch Rome never received it.

I would go ahead and order the notes if i were you, good to know what hey are thinking! It's probably nothing and it will put your mind at ease!

The really strange thing is that i have already sent them 3 mails in a week but no answer at all..... At august i sent them another email aaking about some adittional informations and they reply to me one day after. .. What ia really going on over there
