SO! After two and a half MONTHS in Canadian Customs (thanks Canada for making sure there was no drugs or contraband in my 300+ pages of paperwork) our application has finally been delivered! :o

Now, from what I am aware of, it'll be approximately 20 days until I receive any acknowledgement that they've received it, can anyone confirm that?

The medical was done in March, and we've paid everything up front. So could someone tell me how to get my details on those lovely spreadsheets that track the applications?

Also, just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who posts and supports people in this forum... it was the best resource by far for putting the application together, and I'm not sure I could have done it without the help I found here. So thanks everyone!

WOW!!! That is a long time to be in Canadian Customs, I think I would have just about died waiting, haha! I'm so happy to hear it finally got through!

I'm also on my 20 days waiting for AOR1, lol. Already driving me nuts!

Thanks AladdinsGirl, I won't stress if I don't get any confirmation. Although it'd be really nice to have!

And isn't that a ridiculously long time to be in Canadian Customs?! I was starting to seriously panic that it was lost, but thankfully it's all good! Definitely glad I paid to have it tracked when I sent it. Although I'm sure Customs has messed up my beautiful organisation lol

Ok, will do! Thank you so much. :) And wow... That is quite the increase. Here's to hoping the time goes by quickly, lol.
I have received my AOR 1 on 25th June and waiting eagerly for SA. It took 23 days for that after application received.

Congrats on getting your AOR1! Really hope the SA will come for you soon! :)
If they don't include weekends, then we are on day 8 of waiting for our AOR1, haha.

#9...Yes, you do have a PR...put in when and where.
#10. Did someone else sponsor you to get your PR?

so what date should I put in Q10? the day I got my PR or the date we submit our application?

Hello all!

I just sent off our completed application via courier yesterday to Mississauga. Keeping my fingers crossed that things go smoothly!

I can only second that!

Brought my application to the courier today (Purolator). Fortunately, I have been in Mississauga today. If they don't deliver it to CPC-M via Florida, Mexico City and Belo Horizonte, it should arrive very very soon. The excitement begins!

You should enter the date when you became a PR (and don't forget to explain what kind of sponsorship it was). I hope this helps!

My partner and I are applying from Korea (VO Manilla) for common law sponsorship. Our package arrived on July 12 so we are now anxiously awaiting AOR. Good luck everyone!

Hi erical,

My partner and I are also applying from Korea for spousal sponsorship. According to Korea Post, our package should arrive on Monday!

That's fantastic! Where are you located in Korea? We're in Seoul and hope to move back to Canada next year. I'm curious about how fast the Manilla VO is processing files these days. Everyone in that forum posts in Tagalog so I have no idea what's going on. :)
