Hello Everyone, my application was received on 10/27/2011 but status still shows as following in e-cas.

We received your application for permanent residence on October 27, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Should I be concerned that it's going to be almost a year and still does not show status as "in process" even though cases from Jan - May of 2012 have been approved and processed. I am a Naturalized U.S. Citizen living in California and I was born in India and my wife is a Canadian citizen. CIC has stated on numerous emails that they don't need anything from us but that they have a large number of files that they are working thru. Any advice or suggestions, would be very much appreciated.

Hey roysingh - so I am assuming you are going through the New Delhi VO? I am not sure what the regular processing time is, but if you have contacted them and they are still processing and don't require extra documents, then it is probably just a case of being patient and waiting it out. There is a New Delhi thread somewhere on the forum where you may be able to get more info. In terms of E-CAS, I am pretty sure there are many cases of statuses not changing to "In Processs" - the system is pretty unreliable, and I wouldn't let that worry you. Sorry I can't be of more help!!!

Congrats finally, prithiv. Hey I have the same problem, the address on my eCAS is missing a dash between the street number and building number. I'm afraid the mailman might just clump the two numbers together and send any letters from my VO to the wrong address. I will probably sent an email to my VO once we get our AOR2 asking about this.

thank you :)

Got AOR 2 from HK today! It was date 10/22, so only 7 days after our sponsorship approval. Please update me on the spreadsheet bagelbagel81, thanks.

Thanks, hopefully they make up the time we lost during the prolong wait we had to endure for stage 1.

Hey Guys!

So since we all applied in July the new conditional PR rules don't pertain to us correct?

"The conditional measure is now in force, which means that it applies to permanent residents in relationships of two years or less, with no children in common, whose applications are received on or after October 25, 2012."
