Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I am a July 2012 FAM Sponsorship Applicant. The App submitted to CPC-M July 05th 2012. CPC-M received July 06th 2012.I received stage 1 AOR to sponsor September 17th 2012 and App sent to VO in Havana. Med's done in the Spring 2012. Waiting for stage 2 AOR. Bagel, can you please add me to the spreadsheet to join the Juliers? Wishing everyone here and on the forum easy,speedy processing of their apps to their visas. God Bless.

Yes, Rome VO can take up to 14 months: 80% of cases get processed by that time, many get processed before and some unfortunately get processed after.
I did a search for 'Rome' threads and saw someone who applied in June 2011 and received their Visa 9 months later, so I guess that was 7 months for stage 2 for them. I also saw that someone got their stage 2 processed after 2 months (must have been lucky!), so it really all depends. Hopefully yours will be on the shorter side of time. The most frustrating thing would be lack of communication with the VO , as I think Rome VO is not too efficient at responding to queries. Good-luck!

Hey wongchild, I will add you to the spreadhseet.

The AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt. Some people don't get this, but some people do via email before their sponsorship - just showing that CIC has inputted the applicant's info into the system as being received.

Some VO's (such as Sydney) also give an AOR once it is transferred, but most don't, unfortunately. Good luck with stage 2!

But i have a issue, the address shown in my ecas status is missing my street number . Do i need to contact them and inform or they will have my correct address which i have wrote in my app... ?

Congrats finally, prithiv. Hey I have the same problem, the address on my eCAS is missing a dash between the street number and building number. I'm afraid the mailman might just clump the two numbers together and send any letters from my VO to the wrong address. I will probably sent an email to my VO once we get our AOR2 asking about this.

Hello Everyone, my application was received on 10/27/2011 but status still shows as following in e-cas.

We received your application for permanent residence on October 27, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Should I be concerned that it's going to be almost a year and still does not show status as "in process" even though cases from Jan - May of 2012 have been approved and processed. I am a Naturalized U.S. Citizen living in California and I was born in India and my wife is a Canadian citizen. CIC has stated on numerous emails that they don't need anything from us but that they have a large number of files that they are working thru. Any advice or suggestions, would be very much appreciated.
