Hi im one of july applicants, my hubby sent our application july 15 and recieved by cici last july 17..just wondering because my husband have not recieved any mail or email from cic yet... We are both worried about this...

I just called CIC automated system and got this message: "Your application was received on 07/04/2012" ;D. So, that's an AOR for me . I haven't received any email yet, but I know it's on the way.

Hi im new here.. What is AOR? My husband is a PR in canada and im from Philippines he has sent our application july 15.. He have not recieved aby email or mail from cic yet.. We are worried about it.. ;(

Hi i just called cic and they where asking for the client number... What is it? Is it the receipt number when we paid for the fee?

No they are two separate things. The client number is your 8 digit file number xxxx-xxxx. Just give them the receipt number and they will look it up and request your UCI number when they do.

Hey Curious0027, if the sponsor is a permanent resident, his UCI is on his PR Card. You can call CIC and provide them this number. Once they open your sponsorship file, the applicant(s) will be assigned another UCI. By the way, if the applicant has a previous Canadian visa (e.g., tourist) an UCI has already been assigned at that time and will remain the same

My sponsor hasn't been approved yet so we didn't have those numbers until he called and they gave him those numbers. All we had was the receipt number. Like you, we didn't get any correspondece by postal mail or email either.

Hi Curious, welcome to July! I will add you to the spreadsheet. When did you get your medicals done?

Hopefully you get an answer from CIC regarding your sponsorship approval. By the sounds of it- "Decision Made" is a good result to see on E-Cas (More often than not, it means that the sponsor has approval, you have passed stage 1, and your application has been transferred to Manila for stage 2). Let us know how you go.

A study permit isn't under family class sponsorship.
