Dear Learned Members,
File for my wife was moved to Delhi consulate in the month of July - 2012. They immediately asked for passport and since than it is with them. Some time in the month of April - 2013 Status updated to "In Process" and they asked for updated Medical and Police verification. We submitted promptly all the documents and status confirms Documents received. But since last week of April status is still same "In Process". Please can any one share some views about this. Is it a sign that she will be called for interview or other kind of trouble.

Regards

Normally, if they were going to ask for an interview, that would be the point when they would do so. Since they asked for new medicals and PCCs, it would suggest they have moved beyond the relationship and into the selection decision stage.

I wouldn't expect the status to change until July or August. In addition, NDVO is one of the offices that has experienced a slow-down due to the labour action. This labour action started back in January (I was speaking to a foreign service officer friend I have in the EU about it several months ago) and continues to escalate. The service times do not consider a labour action, but your actual experienced time WILL reflect the labour action.

This labour action is really nasty: the issue is between the workers and Treasury Board. Treasury Board is not impacted by the work stoppage, people working with immigration are, and the people impacted in general don't vote anyway, so the politicians don't care very much.

LANDED !!!!

I landed at the airport today (early morning)

landing was easy and quick.. immigration officer took my copr .. did some paperwork, made me sign infront of her. and told me my PR card will be mailed to me in 7-8 weeks and told by the time i wait , i can apply for sin, exchange my dl, apply for healthcard..
and thats it. she stamped my passport and gave me my copr. and then she congratulated me and welcomed me to canada.... and i was done..
i was out of the airport in less than half hour..
so, now I am officially Canadian PR..
moreover I am with my husband (which matters the most)

please update the march 2012 spreadsheet parker24 :)
