I think applicants from June-17 Jul are being processed for Stage 1 in Ottawa - the rest through til possibly mid August are being processed in Mississauga. They did that earlier throughout the year when they started processing the second half of May in Ottawa before the second half of April and first half of May had been completed - which explains the disjointed-ness somewhat - but still doesn't mean applications are processed consecutively, even taking that into account!

Either way, there is progress being made - and any progress to me is better than no movement

Hey Bagel, not sure if you missed it before or just haven't updated the spreadsheet yet (which is totally fine as you are doing an awesome job at keeping it going). But I got my approval letter dated September 12. So far you just have me as AOR for stage 1.

Thanks, Bagel! We didn't receive any AOR but our sponsorship approval date is Sept 20 - I see we're the right colour for sponsorship approval in the spreadsheet but our date is missing. And thanks for your work updating the spreadsheet - you're doing a great job.

And good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear .. there will be more good news by tomorrow, hopefully!

It's quarter to 5pm here in Sydney, so I am about to go have a few cold ones. Wouldn't it be great coming home to an approval! haha.... Either way, I am in no rush- my man is here with me so I am one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to be a part from my partner while the whole process is going on

After reading your post, checked my credit card statment and yes, I also got charged on Wednesday. So do you think we will get CSQs next week for our partners? I sent my forms to the Quebec Immigration on the 11th of September.

Congrats! Maybe this is a good thing, LAs processing time is 10 months, that's less than the other offices in the US =)

Indeed it is, but still, it's puzzling since my partner lives in Pittsburgh; I thought the CPP-O or New York would have been chosen. But who cares as long as it's being processed! It's funny because this very morning I tried to use my receipt number to inquire about my application and there was nothing there...

I called CIC just now. they informed my spornership is approved and a letter was mailed out on 17th. cheerrrrs....

and it is so strange that they emailed me refund notification and mailed me the approval letter.

what a process....
