i called up the call center yesterday, friday, AOR was received on Sept 15 and stage 1 was completed on Sept 20. Documents for the sponsor will be sent to Ottawa anytime now.

Bit of an off-topic question, sorry but I thought I would ask here since we just got our Sponsorship approval. We are both living in Canada at the moment, and we had applied from outland in New Zealand. How do we go about updating our address? I think us living in Canada will help our application as well, do we need to let the Sydney VO know? Or can I just call CIC and inform them and they'll let Sydney know?

hey dawdarkharp- i would try calling cic canada first and also try emailing sydney with the update directly. I think you will hear from sydney quite promptly if you quote your client or uci number. No harm in calling cic aswell seeing as you are in canada, however they may have already tranferred your file to sydney, so will most likely have more success going through them. Good luck!

No worries! Not yet- I have a feeling CIC might send something via snail mail this week sometime- meaning I may not get it for another 3 weeks or so!
Either way I am expecting the worst, but hoping for the best!

and the file has been sent onto Sydney! yay! SO relieved! I was paranoid that we forgot to sign something or missed a question somewhere!

I got the sponsorship e-mail from O-Pilot dated Sept 17. Wow massive relief. Not validating IMM1344 has kept me awake for 2.5 mths. But it all worked out in the end.
